The artist formerly known as 'Xtina' has dropped her usual revealing outfits, to embrace a looser, boho look - possibly to accommodate her rapidly expanding baby bump.
But she doesn't completely adopt the nun look, as the gypsy style top reveals plenty of her swelling bosom.
Although she has yet to officially confirm the happy event, Christina has clearly waved goodbye to her chaps, and her usual form-fitting 50s style outfits.
The singer, who is reportedly four-and-a-half months pregnant with her first child, showed off her new look on a shopping trip with husband Jordan Bratman.
When asked recently if she was pregnant, the raunchy popstar would only say: "It's definitely something we can't wait to begin."
But the rumours were fuelled at the end of last month when she cancelled a number of shows in Australia on her Back to Basics world tour after being struck down with an "illness" and cutting short a show in Melbourne.
Amid health fears, doctors ordered immediate bed rest for the performer, who was diagnosed with a viral upper respiratory tract infection, a high fever and abnormal coughing.
Known for her professionalism and hard-work, she immediately issued a statement apologising to fans.
It said: "Unfortunately, I have fallen ill with a bad flu virus. This is one of the best cities in the world to perform in and I am truly disappointed that I won't be able to share my show with you all."
She continued: "Thank you for all of the continued love and support, and I hope to perform for you all again next time."
Her reticence to publicly acknowledge her pregnancy has seemed more and more futile as the singer made little effort to hide her bump during earlier performances.
Those working on her tour said her on stage costumes were being altered weekly to cater for her blooming stomach. And it is no surprise to see she is happy to display her growing cleavage.
She recently spoke of her love of revealing outfits and the encouragement she receives from her husband when wearing them.
She said she was lucky to be married to someone who likes her showing off her body. "When I feel an outfit's too revealing, he just says, 'You have the body, go ahead'! I couldn't really ask for a more supportive husband," she said.
It seems it may not be long before an official announcement is made about the couple's impending family. The New York Daily News newspaper has reported that Miss Aguilera was heard gushing to her obstetrician's receptionist about her pregancy.
And her father, Fausto Aguilera, has found it even more difficult to keep quiet. The proud future grandfather said last month: "I'm so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world."
